How to Make a Caterpillar with Paper Lanterns

What You'll Need

- Clear hanging line

- Pipe cleaners, cable ties, or stiff fabric/paper for antennae
- Glue or tape

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Assemble Your Lanterns
Carefully expand each paper lantern according to the instructions. Take your time to ensure they're fully opened and symmetrical for the best look.
Step 2: Create the Face
Using the red lantern as your caterpillar's head, cut out eyes and a nose from coloured paper. You can make them as simple or as elaborate as you like! Gently attach them to the lantern using glue or double-sided tape.
Step 3: Add Antennae
Give your caterpillar some personality with antennae! Pipe cleaners work brilliantly for this - simply poke them through the top of the red lantern and bend them into fun shapes. Cable ties or strips of stiff paper also work well.
